Menu Highlights

The chef-inspired menu consists mainly of seafood and Southern staples like fried chicken, shrimp, and grits, as well as unique offerings such as the grilled mango salad.

There are also lunch specials like the Get Hooked, featuring one appetizer, entree, and dessert. The shrimp and grits have a unique creole twist with creole sausage, melted tomatoes, peas, and a beer demi-glace.

The elegant dinner menu features a variety of seafood pairings, such as tuna tartare, caviar deviled eggs, and yellow jack tiradito. It also includes a unique hogfish ceviche with grilled mango and onion that is popular among diners.

Chef Jeff Mcinnis

Executive chef Jeff Mcinnis was born in Niceville, Florida, surrounded by the azure-colored Gulf of Mexico. He grew up on fishing boats and worked in local restaurants at 16. He was born to fish or cook, and he took his passion for both into the culinary world to great success. After appearing on Top Chef, he returned to Miami to take the reins of Gigi’s and a popular Southern cuisine restaurant on Miami Beach, where he and the restaurant earned three James Beard Awards in under two years.

In 2013, Mcinnis and his partner Janine Booth opened the popular Root and Bone restaurant, which they expanded to Puerto Rico before they set their eyes on Miami Beach with a shared passion for delivering fresh seafood with southern hospitality.

Chef Janine Booth

Executive chef Janine Booth hails from Australia, where she lives an outdoor lifestyle surrounded by oceans. She was exposed to various culinary traditions, flavors, and ingredients from a young age. Her fascination with culinary arts led her to attend culinary classes, which ignited her culinary career.

Booth went to Miami in 2010, where she cooked Thai, Vietnamese, and other cultural food in some of the most renowned restaurants. Like her partner, she was featured on Top Chef and opened her first restaurant, Root and Bone. The couple spent years growing Root and Bone and decided to head back to Miami Beach, where they first met and discovered the Sunset Harbor location for their next concept.
